About Roshane

Born in France, I arrived in Montreal in 2017 to study Computer Science and Mathematics at McGill University. In France, I was already a SuperProf tutor (Beginner English lessons for adults) and loved the experience. This time, I am tutoring for French lessons and Math lessons! About the lesson

A few things about the lessons:

- French Conversation lessons (and accent reduction if needed) up to high-school/intermediate level for children or adults.

- My lessons will take place fully in French in order to maximize the learning experience. I can also make an exception to that rule if parents want me to teach the lessons partly in English for their children.

- While the class mainly focus on the ability for the students to express themselves in French in any type of conversation, I can also adapt the lesson to give teach grammar, linking words (to improve your writing skills as well) and have games in French for elementary school students for example

- I strongly believe that the best way to learn a language is through oral practice. In fact, speaking out loud the language will give you more motivation to learn it and will increase your confidence to speak with others (while theory, French books, etc are important, they won't help you get rid of that fear to speak in a new language with native speakers).

For adults (and children who are interested): I always love to talk or debate on any subjects (in French!) as it makes the conversation more genuine/natural and honestly more enjoyable for you and me!
[When I was an English tutor, I had an awesome student who agreed to meet for each lesson in a Cafe and to debate on various topics even though his English was very limited. This not only made his oral skills improve faster but also made the whole experience way more interesting!]

Details

While the rate for a pack of 10hrs is $20/class, the price may increase to $23/class if you ask for many homework outside of the class time. These indeed takes additional time for me to prepare and to correct which explains the price.
