About Christian

I’m Christian, a native French speaker originally from Toronto. I’ve been teaching French since 2019, mainly to young professionals and military personnel in Canada, which has given me solid experience working with motivated adult learners who have clear goals.
I focus on understanding exactly what each student needs and building lessons around that. Because I speak seven languages, I know the real challenges of learning a new language and I make sure my students feel supported rather than overwhelmed. My priority is helping people make steady, practical progress in a way that actually sticks.

About the lesson

I don’t use a fixed curriculum. Instead, I start every lesson by asking what you want to achieve that day and what feels most useful right now. Then we build the session around that — whether it’s preparing for a work conversation, practicing everyday situations, or fixing specific mistakes that keep coming up.
A typical lesson looks like this: we quickly review what we worked on last time, then jump into real-life practice (role-plays, short dialogues, or correcting messages you actually need to send). I correct you naturally while we speak so you stay in the flow, and we finish by noting 2–3 things to focus on before the next class. Because I’ve taught young professionals and military personnel since 2019, I’m used to people who have limited time and clear goals.
What sets this apart is the combination of structure and flexibility. I speak seven languages myself, so I know which explanations actually help and which ones just confuse people. The result is lessons that feel relevant to your life instead of generic textbook exercises
