About Daniela

Bonjour! I'm Daniela, a native French speaker based in London.

I was born in Lebanon and grew up in Brussels, where I went to school in French before completing the French baccalaureate at a French lycée. I then moved to London for university and recently graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London, with a degree in Management with Entrepreneurship.

Languages have always been part of my life. I speak French, English, Dutch and Lebanese Arabic, and I learnt several of them outside the classroom. This means I understand the challenges of learning a new language, and I know how to make progress feel achievable.

I'm patient, organised and reliable. I prepare every lesson in advance, keep track of each student's progress, and adapt my teaching to your goals and pace. My aim is for you to leave each lesson feeling more confident than when you arrived.

Whether you're starting from scratch, preparing for an exam or want to speak more naturally, I'd be happy to help. Feel free to message me with any questions or to book your first lesson.

À bientôt,
Daniela

About the lesson

Every lesson is built around the student. In the first session, I assess your level, understand your goals (an exam, travel, work, or simply confidence speaking), and plan the lessons from there.

I focus on getting you speaking from day one. Grammar and vocabulary are taught in context, through real conversations, short texts, audio and everyday situations, rather than long lists to memorise. I correct mistakes clearly but gently, and I explain the "why" behind the rules so they stick.

Having grown up between Brussels, Beirut and London, and speaking French, English, Dutch and Arabic, I know what it takes to learn a language, and I can explain French clearly in English when needed.

Lessons

Lessons last one hour online. Between sessions, I give short, practical exercises so progress continues outside class.
