About Rémi

I am a 17 year old student, who is a native English and French speaker, with a genuine passion for languages. I have studied and self taught to fluency several languages including Spanish, German, Norwegian and Latin. I also have a working level of Greek. I am gentle, organised and love to make lessons creative and fun. You can only learn a language if you make it meaningful to you as well as enjoyable.

About the lesson

I aim to improve students’ speaking, writing and comprehension skills through tailored lessons. My teaching focuses on grammatical exercises and learning key vocabulary through conversation and reading and to learn through material which interests the student. We will be using a textbook to develop foundational skills, and novels, film, online articles, newspaper articles and more afterwards.

Lessons will last between one and two hours, depending on the student’s preference.

Having learnt and taught myself several languages, I have gained experience in language learning, and aim to use similar techniques in my classes. I have also been teaching French through online conversation classes over the past year, and I am aware of the typical difficulties which students face whilst learning French, and hope to combat these in my lessons.

Students of all ages and of all levels are welcome. Whether you want to learn French from scratch, or perfect your accent or fluency, my classes will be tailored to your needs !
