About Aurelia
Bonjour! Je m'appelle Aurelia, and I am a native French speaker currently studying at university in the UK.
I am passionate about language (currently learning Italian and Spanish), communication, and helping others gain confidence in French. Did I mention that I love to talk? Having grown up speaking French, I can provide students with authentic pronunciation, natural expressions, and cultural insights that go beyond what is found in textbooks.
I am patient, approachable, and committed to creating a positive learning French for travel, or simply interested in the language, I am dedicated to helping you achieve your goals.
I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and adapting my lessons to suit each student's individual needs and learning style. I aim to make learning French both effective and enjoyable.

As a native French speaker and university student, I believe that language should be practical, engaging, and tailored to each student's goals. My teaching approach focuses on building confidence in grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and comprehension.
I adapt my lessons to each learner's needs and learning style. For students preparing for exams such as GCSE or A-Level French, I provide structured support with speaking, listening, reading, writing, and exam techniques. For adult learners and beginners, I focus on real-life communication skills, helping students use French naturally and confidently in everyday situations.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and includes a combination of conversation practice, vocabulary building, grammar explanations, and interactive exercises and feedback. Lessons are designed to be supportive, encouraging, and enjoyable while ensuring steady progress.
I understand the challenges of learning a language and aim to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process.
