About Juliette
My name is Juliette, I am 18 and I follow a double degree in English and French Law between Queen Mary University of London and La Sorbonne Paris. I come from a small coastal city in France (Saint-Malo) although I spend most of my time exploring Paris and Bordeaux! I am familiar with tutoring: I have helped students from 12 to 17 years old with their French skills and passing their exams. I am very friendly and make sure learning can take place in a comfortable atmosphere. I believe seriousness and consistency, combined with fun and efficiency is the best way to make progress in learning a new language.

I know for a fact that learning a language can be challenging. In such regard, the experience taught me that the greatest help does not always stem from school teaching, but rather from being surrounded by people who master the language perfectly, its depths and the culture that comes with it : who could do it better than native people ?
My lessons aim at immersing students in real-life discussions they could have in France : I will help them improve their vocabulary, understanding and speaking skills. We will also work on building a strong grammatical basis, and develop a good "french writing style". As for the pronunciation, I know speaking in another language can be quite intimidating : be assured I know the feeling and will help with overcoming it (if any).
Lessons should typically last 1 to 2 hours depending on your needs and availability, and can take place in person (London) or online. Students from all levels are welcomed.
