About Sanaa

I’ve been helping people master French for about 4 years now, but my connection to the language goes way back—I grew up speaking French my entire life and went through the French school system from day one. My mom was a French teacher, so I’ve been around the best tricks for explaining the tricky stuff since I was a kid and I've seen firsthand what actually works for students. Whether you’re a student in Immersion trying to get through a tough assignment, or an adult who just wants to finally be fluent, I can help you get there. I’m all about clear, effective lessons that actually stick, skipping the boring repetitive drills and focusing on how the language really works.

What sets me apart is that I don’t just teach "textbook French"—I teach you how to be comfortable and confident. I’ve worked with everyone from Grade 4s to professionals, so I know how to pivot my style to whatever works best for you. A typical hour with me usually starts with a casual French check-in to get your brain moving, followed by a deep dive into whatever you’re struggling with, and we always finish by putting everything into practice so you’re actually using what you learned. My goal is to make sure you walk away from every session feeling like you’ve actually made progress.

A Typical 60-Minute Lesson:

Active Practice (20 min): Putting it all into practice through guided dialogue and feedback.
