About Manon

Hi! I’m Manon, a native French speaker, and I’d love to help you feel more comfortable and confident speaking French!

I’m a very friendly, open-minded and curious person who genuinely loves meeting new people and discovering different cultures. I really enjoy multicultural environments because I think there’s always something new to learn from the people around us.

I speak several languages myself, so I know what it feels like to learn a new language, make mistakes, discover new expressions and slowly become more confident. That’s also why I understand that everyone has their own way of learning.

For me, learning French shouldn’t feel like a chore. I want it to be something you genuinely look forward to, a chance to chat, learn something new, discover French culture and have a good time while improving your French.

About the lesson

I like to keep my lessons relaxed, fun and interactive. I don’t want you to feel like you’re sitting in a classroom memorizing endless grammar rules! We’ll focus on real French, everyday conversations, useful vocabulary and expressions that French speakers actually use.

Each lesson can be a little different depending on what you want to improve. We might start with a casual conversation, then work on vocabulary, pronunciation or grammar through fun and practical exercises. If you have a specific goal, such as travelling, studying, preparing for an exam or simply becoming better at speaking, we can build the lessons around that.

And don’t worry about making mistakes! I want you to feel comfortable speaking, asking questions and trying new things. Making mistakes is part of learning, and I’ll be there to help you along the way.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or already speak some French, I’ll adapt the lessons to your level and your personality. My goal is for you to leave every lesson feeling like you’ve actually learned something useful and hopefully had a good time too! :)

My lessons are $25 per hour, and your first lesson is completely free! :)

The first session is a chance for me to get to know you, understand your level and goals, and see what kind of lessons work best for you. From there, I adapt each session to your needs and interests.

Whether you want to focus on conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar or simply feel more confident speaking French, I’ll make sure our lessons are useful, relaxed and enjoyable.

I also believe that learning should be flexible, so I’m happy to adapt the pace and content of our lessons depending on your progress and what you want to work on.
