About Reena

Originally from the vibrant, multilingual island of Mauritius, I now live in Gatineau, Canada, where I teach French. Growing up immersed in French, English, Mauritian Creole, and Hindi, I attended a French-medium Catholic high school, where my passion for language took root.

In 2000, I began my journey as an elementary school teacher, eager to inspire students to love French. Later, I moved to Ontario, where I continued my career, teaching in an elementary IB school. With a BA in French-English translation and an MBA in educational leadership, I have gained valuable insights into cognitive learning patterns, allowing me to design effective teaching strategies.

For over four years, I have been teaching French as a second language to federal government officers, helping them build confidence and fluency in their professional communication.

With over 20 years of experience in teaching French, I craft engaging and personalized lesson plans to suit diverse learning needs.

For Elementary and Secondary Students:
Specializing in French Immersion and FSL programs, I adapt my approach to each learner.
