About Simon

I have studied Latin for 4 years and have studied my whole life (until University) in French establishments. French is more than my native tongue, it's also a language that I had to master in school. My learning of Latin also was geared towards sentence analysis, which translated effectively into French structural sentence analysis. From 15 to 20, I was a ski instructor. I've also been a French teacher at a weekend school for the 2021-2022 school year. Teaching is therefore something I am quite familiar with. Whether you need help getting to learn the language, or on how to write effective and professional texts, I will be of help to you. My only limitations are creative writing and poetry.

About the lesson

My teaching method is based off of a 50/50 theoretical and practical learning split. My classes are interactive and aim to help you find effective ways to progress by yourself out of classes. Beginners and people still learning how to speak will learn how to form grammatically correct sentences and how to communicate effectively in French. More advanced students, and students currently enrolled in French classes, will benefit from my advanced knowledge of grammar and structural sentence analysis. No matter your level or objectives, this is what you will get from one of my classes: - Interactive presentation style teaching, with visuals and short exercises - Live feedback to help you monitor your learning and have an objective look on your mastery of the French language - Recommendations for activities, videos or other ways you can improve your learning geared towards your interests and motivations factor
