About Sorcha
I am an enthusiastic teacher who sees my role as a facilitator to learning.
I grew up in an French speaking household and was educated through the medium of English. I have worked for several years as a French/English translator.
I am also a lecturer in geology and act as first year tutor and pastoral lead for my subject area. I have been an Open University student for many years and have deiced to compete my studies there and claim my degree this year when I finish the last module that I have chosen, but I have done modules in subjects as wide ranging as languages , sports science, mythology and forensics.
I have been tutoring on and off for many years at a variety of levels at school and university and I enjoy building up a good relationship with a student to allow them to progress to the maximum of their ability.
