About Camille

I am a French native living in the United States, in the Larchmont, NY area. I graduated from Paris Descartes University as a registered nurse and later worked in the field of clinical research. After moving to the U.S., I decided to shift my career toward teaching French—a language and culture I am passionate about sharing. I am currently in the process of obtaining my FLE (Français Langue Étrangère – French as a Foreign Language) certification. I am now working as a french teacher in a school in Larchmont.
I truly enjoy teaching and providing my students with the tools they need to feel confident and comfortable expressing themselves in both spoken and written French.

About the lesson

As a native French speaker and graduate of Paris Descartes University, I offer engaging and personalized French lessons, both online and in person in the Larchmont area. I focus on communication and writing skills. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s individual goals—whether it's conversational fluency, grammar, pronunciation, or writing. I use a combination of interactive exercises, and real-life conversation. That’s why the first session is dedicated to understanding the student’s objectives and learning style. Each session begins with a review of the previous material, followed by the study of a new topic chosen together with the student. I emphasize speaking practice and aim to make each session as interactive as possible. Homework is optional and always adapted to your schedule. I work with all levels—beginners, intermediate, advanced students, and adult professionals. Whether you're studying for school, preparing for a trip, or simply looking to improve your fluency, I’ll adapt my teaching to your specific needs.
