About Ines

I am a Masters student who has a lot of expertise when it comes to languages. Having been born and bred in France, my knowledge of French is extensive and thorough. I have transferred my knowledge of the French language into tutoring, and I have helped students from GCSE level to adult learners become more confident in French. As a multilingual person, I am able to acknowledge the importance of learning languages from a young age, for that is truly the time when one is able to soak in all of the information. My family often took in 'au pairs' and thus, teaching French/English to foreigners became a natural thing. These 'au pairs' have all gone away after a few months speaking French/English fluently. Moreover, having younger siblings has meant that I often aid them when it comes to French, so that they may not lose the language. I still currently tutor students in French and I also have created my own social media platform where I promote my online tutoring business. With a recent BA in English from the University of Birmingham, I take pride in offering a teaching methodology that is focused on linguistic growth.

About the lesson

Having English as a second language means that I am perfectly able to comprehend the intricacies of learning a new language. My teaching style is simple yet efficient. Learning a new language is quite hard (especially at GCSE level!) and thus I do not wish to overcomplicate things. When it comes to online lessons, I like to make sure that my student has everything ready for the upcoming lesson. Therefore, I make sure to send in any material that we shall cover beforehand to make sure the hour will be a productive and efficient one. Furthermore, achieving top grades in French (A* at GCSE, A at AS and an A* at A level) means that I know exactly what the examiners are looking for and what you need to do to also achieve full marks. I prep my lessons carefully by creating study resources for my students or by incorporating my own notes that got me these amazing grades. Therefore, I equip my students with everything they need to excel in their French exam, whether GCSE, A-level or DELF. More recently, I have also launched my 12 week course for beginner French students to master conversational French. As of now, I am looking for beginner/intermediate French learners who are not only looking to ameliorate their learning skills, but also maximise their oral fluency and conversational capacity in French. I have opened up my diary from August 2024 onwards- contact me now to arrange a no-strings-attached consultation call! (Please note that my sessions are 50 minutes long!)
