About Reynald
I am a passionate and experienced language teacher with over 20 years working in independent schools in the UK. Alongside my teaching role, I have also held significant pastoral responsibilities as a Housemaster, supporting students both academically and personally.
I genuinely enjoy helping students grow in confidence and develop their language skills in a supportive and encouraging environment. I believe learning a language should be both structured and enjoyable, and I adapt my approach to suit each individual.
Whether working with young learners, exam students or adults, I take great satisfaction in seeing my students succeed and feel more confident in their abilities.

I offer personalised and structured French lessons tailored to each student’s needs, whether for GCSE, A-Level or bilingual support. With over 20 years’ experience teaching in independent schools, as well as extensive tutoring experience with young children, GCSE and A-Level students, and adults, I focus on building confidence, strong foundations and exam success.
My lessons typically last 60 minutes and include a mix of speaking, listening, reading and writing, adapted to the student’s level and goals.
I aim to create a calm, supportive and encouraging learning environment where students can make steady progress and enjoy learning.
