I strive to make my lessons as interesting and engaging as possible for each student. To achieve this, I use a variety of resources, such as interactive games, news reports, articles, songs, and interviews, to practice comprehension, translation, and vocabulary. I aim to incorporate modern and dynamic materials that spark the student’s interest and motivate them to understand and speak French. Alongside these engaging activities, I provide structured exercises paired with theoretical explanations to reinforce specific concepts, such as tense conjugation, vocabulary building, reading time, expressions, and pronoun usage.
A typical lesson lasts about one hour.
My qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Foreign Applied Languages, which has equipped me with valuable techniques for learning and teaching foreign languages. I use this knowledge in my tutoring to help students learn efficiently and effectively. Currently, I am tutoring a Year 9 high school student, which I have been doing for the past two months. During this time, I have gotten to know her individual learning style and specific needs, allowing me to tailor my lessons accordingly.
My lessons are open to students of any level and age. However, my current experience with a Year 9 student has given me particular insight into working with learners at this stage.
