About Josiah
I'm an adventurous 23-year-old who has recently moved to Madrid, Spain. If I'm not teaching you'll most likely find me outside hiking, camping, cycling, or just sunbathing. I'm a native Texan born and raised and couldn't be more grateful to have been brought up in such a diverse place. I decided to study English Literature as I find my passion in teaching and find it fulfilling being able to help others improve their day-to-day abilities.

I'm Josiah, a native English teacher from the US with a BA in English Literature from the University of Texas. My teaching philosophy boils down to one key idea: language is a living thing—if you don't use it, you lose it. That's why my goal is to help you integrate English into your daily life in a way that feels natural and engaging.
I have a strong background in education, having worked in high schools as a support specialist for students with autism and learning disabilities, and I'm currently working as a Conversation Assistant at a primary school in Madrid. Thanks to this experience, my classes are dynamic and completely tailored to you. We'll ditch the boring textbooks and focus instead on real-world conversation and topics you actually care about.
