I’ve known Gwen for her entire teaching career, occasionally observing her in action during teaching sessions with her students. She’s been an English teacher for well over 10 years to students in several countries, in many age groups, and from many walks of life. Being a firm believer in continued education both for herself and her students, she is very conscientious and spends a significant amount of time in lesson preparation, all the while constantly studying to stay updated with the latest and greatest English teaching techniques and marketplace needs.
Of equal or greater importance in my opinion, her gentle demeanor and keen sense of intuition seem to have a relaxing effect on connecting with her students on their level, thus putting them at ease making their learning experience come alive and enabling her to draw them into discussions with greater impact and relevance to their lives.

Gwen is such an amazing tutor. I've known her for 3 years and I've never regretted it. She always prepares the lessons perfectly and designs them especially for you.
During that time, I improved my english really well from almost zero knowledge. My personal goal is to reach the C1 level and I know she is the right person to teach me all that knowledge I have to know to achieve this. I'm also really glad that she always answers my questions, not just during the lessons, also during the week via email. Gwen was first of all a really lovely and friendly teacher. I think the personality of her students matter a lot to her, because the classes were always personal, fun and diverse - never boring.
Apart from that she is very patient and takes her time to teach you what you need. She knows exactly what your goal is and follows through it without adding anything unnecessary. The structure of her lessons always made sense and it offered the best learning effect.
If I needed more English lessons, I would definitely book again with her but with her help I managed the Proficiency! So, I was more than happy, thank you again, Gwen! :-)
