About Stephanie
I have a Bachelor's degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. I tutored a student twice a week in English in 2013 with marked improvement in her ability to read chapter books. I also have a five-year-old son whom I am teaching the basics of the English language and how to read each night.

My teaching method is to first assess the student's current skills and determine which areas need improvement (spelling, pronunciation, reading comprehension, etc.). Together we form a plan and timeline for improvement. I like to create games to help students because it stimulates different parts of the brain and makes it feel more like play and less like work.
