About Ruby
I am an avid communicator and an empath.
With each new day, I seek to find new reasons to believe in the good of humanity and to contribute my part to the betterment of the society we inhabit.
In my free time, I enjoy writing creatively and reading classic and modern fiction pieces for a better understanding of our world. Additionally, I enjoy traveling and learning about different cultures at their source--conversing with people and learning from our differences.

My classes are geared towards English language learners (EFL/ESL, etc.) who are interested in building their conversational English skills and toward elementary school students in need of assistance with English reading, writing and grammar.
As a college student, I have fresh understanding of up-to-date standards for English grammar and teaching. Additionally, I have a passion for language learning (I'm currently learning to speak French) and bring positivity and confidence to my teaching style to support students striving toward their language-learning goals.
I tailor my lesson plans to each individual student to best fit their needs and remain open to adapting teaching methods as students progress; each class will involve reading and writing practice at the level of the individual student.
