About Qi
I am a student in WA who was grown up in China and spoke fluent Mandarin. At the age of 9, I was migrated to Western Australia and is fluent in both languages. I have continued to build my knowledge of both Mandarin and English for years and is able to teach all parts of Mandarin including comprehending, writing and speaking.

I am a student myself and understand the difficulties for learning. Due to this, I would incorporate elements in the teaching process that are interesting to the students such as using suitable conversations rather than me forcing knowledge into their brains. I would also use powerpoint, worksheets and provide notes to help students understand better. I would approach topics separately in different sections of the lesson, for example, the first 10 minutes are for speaking to get familiar with the words, second 20 minutes are for comprehending and the last 30 minutes are for writing.
