I am a native speaker originally from Hong Kong, currently studying Education and Psychology at the University of Southampton. Having achieved straight 9s and A*s in my own UK exams, I understand the discipline required to master a second language. I am a native Cantonese speaker with fluent Mandarin, who also achieved top grades in the UK school system. I can explain Chinese grammar through the lens of an English speaker, making "tricky" rules much clearer. I have also achieved Grade 9 in GCSE Chinese and Grade A in A-Level Chinese.
Typical length of lesson: 1 hour
