Hi! My name is Suzana Cunha, and I’m thrilled to introduce myself for this opportunity as a part-time online tutor in math and physics for kids. I’m originally from Brazil and currently living in Canada. I’m a certified Project Management Professional with a background in Industrial Engineering and a postgraduate diploma in Construction Project Management. For over 10 years, I’ve worked on large, complex engineering and construction projects around the world — from Canada and the U.S. to Mozambique and South America. But beyond all that technical experience, there’s something even more meaningful to me: teaching. A few years ago, while working in Mozambique, I had the privilege of being a volunteer tutor for children in need. That experience touched my heart. I saw firsthand how just a bit of time, attention, and guidance could completely change how a child feels about learning. That joy of helping someone go from “I don’t get it” to “I love this!” is what motivates me to teach again.

Also, I bring a strong sense of organization and responsibility. I’m used to managing big projects with tight deadlines and lots of moving parts — so when it comes to lesson planning and student progress, you can count on me to stay on top of things.
