About Vassilissa

I am a French and Irish university student studying in London. I am passionate about languages and language learning, especially helping people open up cultural doors through language acquisition. I believe learning foreign languages will expand your world view and help you become a well-rounded person. I love literature as well, therefore I have access to varied material to render skills such as reading and writing more exciting. I always come prepared and will specially curate every lesson around the student's strengths and weaknesses.

About the lesson

¤ I like to start by assessing your level through simple conversation and perhaps looking over past work if applicable. I then identify topics of interest with the student to construct a lesson around to encourage enthusiasm and motivation.
¤ A lesson will typically last an hour to an hour and a half depending on the productivity of the session. I first started tutoring classmates in high-school and now have experience tutoring young kids (5+), teenagers and adults from beginner to advanced. I have over two years of full time experience coaching students through their French GCSEs, the DALF C1 exam and learning French for work-purposes and as an additional skill.
¤ I've come to really enjoy tutoring French, especially when the student puts in the work and is motivated and punctual :)
