About Rowan
I am a 2016 AP National Scholar who graduated with Honours with Distinctions. I have continued working in those areas and recently graduated with distinctions from U of A in History with Economics and Political Science minors. Whether you're prepping for AP exams or just want to improve your writing skills, I can help!

If you are looking to improve and succeed in English, Social, or competitive debate, I can help!
For high school English and Social Studies: This is very personalized, but I can help with everything from the granular level of how to make your sentences flow better to the high level of how to build an argument and develop a thesis. I can also help with Diploma and AP Exam prep.
For debate: I'm an experienced coach and instructor working with High School students, having taught debate with the Alberta Chinese Cultural Education Society, Strathcona High School, and W.P Wagner High School. Lesson plans are personalized, but I generally start by working on basic logic flow and argument structure, and move from there into public speaking skills and subject-specific techniques at an age-appropriate level.
