About Zainab
Hello! My name is Zainab, and I am passionate about helping children develop confidence and succeed in English. I believe that every child has the ability to thrive when they are supported with patience, encouragement, and lessons tailored to their individual needs.
I specialise in teaching English to **KS1 and KS2** pupils, focusing on reading, writing, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and comprehension. My lessons are engaging, interactive, and designed to make learning enjoyable while helping students build strong foundations and achieve their academic goals.
I pride myself on creating a positive and supportive learning environment where children feel comfortable asking questions and learning from their mistakes. Whether your child needs extra support, wants to prepare for SATs, or is looking to improve their confidence in English, I am committed to helping them reach their full potential.
I understand that every learner is different, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each student's pace and learning preferences. My goal is not only to improve results but also to inspire a lifelong love of reading and learning.

I have always loved teaching. I provide engaging, supportive, and personalised English lessons for **Key Stage 1 (KS1)** and **Key Stage 2 (KS2)** pupils. My teaching approach is centred on helping children build confidence while developing strong reading, writing, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and comprehension skills.
Every lesson is tailored to the child's individual learning needs and pace. I use interactive activities, age-appropriate resources, and positive encouragement to make learning enjoyable and effective. I break down difficult concepts into simple, manageable steps and regularly review previous learning to reinforce understanding and build long-term confidence.
A typical lesson lasts **60 minutes**, although **30- or 45-minute sessions** are also available for younger learners or those who benefit from shorter lessons.
I have experience supporting primary-aged pupils with a range of abilities, including those who need extra support, want to improve their confidence, or are preparing for school assessments such as **SATs**. My lessons focus not only on improving academic performance but also on developing a genuine enjoyment of reading and writing.
My lessons are suitable for **children aged 5–11 (KS1 and KS2)**, whether they need help catching up, extending their skills, preparing for assessments, or simply gaining more confidence in English. My aim is to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where every child feels supported and motivated to achieve their full potential.
