About William

Hi, everyone, my name is Will, and I am a college student at UNC! I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, reading, learning, and playing pickleball! I am an avid math learner: one eager to sit down in math class to learn something new! I would love to be your tutor, and be able to help you understand math more!

About the lesson

My teaching style is lesson and practice problems. This is the way math is learned best, in and outside of the classroom. Typically, I will start with a slide show or something defining terms and writing down formulas. Then I will do 3 practice problem. An easy one, a medium one, and a hard one; if the student comprehends everything, then I will move on and if not, then I will consider going back over that topic again. These lessons are open for all!

Will has always been there to help throughout the many number of classes we have had together, specifically when we took AP Calculus AB and BC. He always had an answer and explained to me very clearly how to get there when I was struggling, and he explained his math in a way that didnt make me feel lesser than he was. He was just like a friend that I could count on for any of the questions I had or help I needed.
