I am 120-Hour Advanced TEFL Certified. My lessons are clear and simple lessons – tailored to the needs of students. Learning with me means more than just grammar and vocabulary – it’s about building confidence, having fun, and seeing real progress!

About the lesson

While my formal transition into the teaching profession is recent, I bring over a decade of experience in a people-focused, communication-driven industry—recruitment—which has honed my ability to engage, coach, and mentor individuals across various levels. I have worked extensively with graduates and professionals, guiding them through career choices, interview preparation, and skill development—experiences that naturally translate into a strong teaching and facilitation ability.

In 2025, I completed the Advanced 120-Hour TEFL Course through TEFL Universal, equipping me with the tools and theoretical foundation to teach English as a foreign language. The course focused on lesson planning, classroom management, grammar instruction, and various learning methodologies tailored to young learners, teens, and adults.

As a native English and Afrikaans speaker and a mother of three children under the age of 10, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how young minds absorb and process language. I’m especially passionate about nurturing foundational language and literacy skills through structured learning, patience, and creativity.

My teaching style is grounded in:
