My name is Sarah. I have a masters degree in mathematics, several years experience tutoring/mentoring all ages, and I would like to help you with your math needs!

About Sarah
I have alot of experience passing math exams throughout my career, and have a masters of mathematics that I graduated with a 4.1 GPA.
I have provided tutoring and supplemental instruction to individuals and groups all through high school and university, then in my career as an actuary. Additionally, I have volunteered at Junior Achievement pretty consistently for over 10 years.
-My philosophy:
From my own personal studies in taking actuarial exams, I understand the importance of strong fundamentals, practicing well, and really thinking things through. I also appreciate the value in giving space to mentally marinate information, and not cramming too much in at once.
I know that there are various learning styles— there are so many ways to understand the same thing, it really just depends on the person. I am extremely patient, and I have always put the effort into figuring out what works for who, and to help them really understand. I care a lot about what I’m doing and about the needs of who I’m helping.
