About Miah
My name is Miah and I am currently a Psychology student at UMHB in Texas. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico until my family moved to Texas when I was 13 years old. While attending middle school and high school in Texas, I volunteered to be an English tutor to my classmates who did not speak English as well as Spanish to those who were preparing to take the AP Spanish exams.

We will begin with assessing how advanced the student is with the Spanish language. Moving forward, each lesson will begin with a warmup of what was taught previously to encourage the brain to remember words and phrases effortlessly. My top priority is the student, which means that we will be learning at your pace. In my tutoring sessions, there is no such thing as a stupid question, this is a safe space to learn and grow. Therefore, we will go over things as many times as needed.
