I really love teaching. I like when students “click“ and that is what I work towards when I teach. I also love playing guitar and skateboarding (not so typical math nerd over here). I am also a bit of a productivity geek so if there is a more efficient way to learn or do something, I’m onto it.

As mentioned before, I have ADHD which makes it hard for me to concentrate in class. I understand what makes a student lose focus and what makes a student interested and engaged because I have been in both situations last week at school. I am currently in year 12 doing the AP curriculum and scoring the top mark for the highest math class I can access so I feel confident tutoring from year 5 math to year 10. I love teaching and want to not only teach students how to do something but why and how it works as well. For the grade I teach it is important to solidify the foundations so that my students have a launchpad into high school and university math.
