About Kaitlyn

My name is Kaitlyn I am a 21-year-old student, working towards my Bachelor's degree in education with an emphasis in reading/literacy. I have a year's experience working with kindergarten through 2nd grade autism support students. I am trained in a program called ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) this program was used during my time with the kiddos I worked with.

About the lesson

I begin with testing students' reading abilities, this test includes starting with some flash cards of age-appropriate words. Then based off of how well your student does with those I will choose an online accessible book that fits your student's reading level. From this point I will work with your student noting any words they struggle with or just simply do not know. Make flash cards of these words and will work with your student until they are ready to move up. I will continue to work with your student as their skill level grows until we have reached their age-appropriate reading level. After this if you wish we can continue working towards a higher reading level for your student. I accept Kindergarten through 4th grade students in regular education or those in autism support/special education.
