About Deanna
I love teaching because it's a chance for me to help others to feel confident and assured. I love breaking things down for people and I get excited when that lightbulb clicks for a student and they are excited about finally understanding something they struggle with.
I love the curiosity and the personalities that I meet with different students and throughout my experience with teaching and tutoring I've become passionate about seeing them develop into people who say "I got this.", "I think I can do it on my own now.", "I got an 100!" Instead of "I can't do it.", "I just don't like math.."
I believe in my students and that's what has carried over into the successes I've had in tutoring thus far.

If you're struggling with understanding concepts, then I'll help you to feel more confident in your learning abilities and we'll go over what you are learning class so you never feel behind.
If you're struggling with keeping up with your homework, we'll do your homework during our sessions.
If you struggle with test taking, I'll prepare practice tests for you and we'll work on that together, your time management and test taking skills.
We're in this together! To become better learners. I understand it can be hard, but that's what I'm here for :D
