My name is Cynthia Murray. I am a private piano and voice professor offering 25+ years experience in instructing Music Education to children and adults. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education.

About Cynthia
A personable and professional musician, conductor, singer and pianist. I strive to be the best that I can be through practice and expect the same from my students. I meet each student where they are and establish a plan from their ability. I work to make lessons enjoyable and fun. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love nature, animals, the beach, and attending music concerts of all genres. I am a firm believer in "Practice makes Permanent". We should always work to be better today than we were yesterday and share our gifts in our own corners of the world.

I use the Kodaly and solfege approaches to music education.
My lessons are tailored to each student's ability.
I teach all age groups, 4 years old through adult.
A typical lesson would be based on student's knowledge and developing a personal plan from there.
My experience as a pianist and vocalist set me apart. I have played and sang since I was a child. I have over 25 years in private and public instruction as well as conducting instrumental and choral groups.
