About Vy
Hi, I’m Vy, a dedicated tutor specializing in helping 3rd through 6th graders build a strong, confident foundation in mathematics. I understand that these middle-elementary years are a critical turning point where topics like long division, fractions, and introductory algebra can become overwhelming, so I focus on breaking down complex concepts into "bite-sized," manageable steps. My teaching style is patient and interactive, utilizing real-world examples and encouraging positive reinforcement to turn math anxiety into a growth mindset. Whether your student needs to catch up on fundamentals or wants to get ahead for middle school, I provide the personalized support and "ah-ha" moments they need to succeed both in the classroom and beyond.
Would you like me to adjust the tone to be even more casual, or should I add a specific detail about your background (like a college degree or a teaching certification)?
