About Brittney
I am Brittney Viers, a performing violist with chamber and orchestral experience. My studio is patient, detailed, and built around your chair placement and audition goals. You will receive a short video of each new bow stroke every two weeks. I am organized, encouraging, and genuinely proud when your section leader notices your progress. Your confident playing matters most to me.

I listen for even sound and smooth string crossings during a two-octave D major scale first. A typical lesson includes open-string long tones, finger pattern exercises, shifting between positions, etude work for bow control, and a thirty-second recording of your best phrase. My specialty is cleaning up crunchy low-string tone and improving intonation accuracy. My students include 3rd through 12th graders, youth orchestra members, and adult community ensemble players.
