I am a teacher full time and have a degree and certification in Elementary Education. I pride myself on my ability to interest my students in my lessons and activate their prior knowledge so that they can connect it to the lesson I am teaching. I make learning a fun and interactive experience!

My lessons are mostly hands-on lessons, in which I use items to ease the difficulty of learning abstract concepts, so that the student can have tangible evidence as to why certain formulas or equations work. I use the scaffolding technique in every lesson, meaning I first demonstrate what I am teaching, then I explore the concept with the student, and finally allow the child to work on their own. The grade levels I teach are Pre-K through 5th.
