About Andrei
During primary school I was lucky enough to be taught by an amazing teacher that gave her all to our education. She showed me what a true pedagogue is and the only way I imagine I can repay her is to use the calling that she instilled in me; That is to teach others what I know.
I am also trained in teaching, receiving my first grade psycho-pedagogical certification two years ago.
From both sides of this human endeavour I believe the best way to teach someone any subject is trough practice. The theory is intertwined with the practice as the concepts become more and more clear.
At a certain point you can "recreate" the theory by yourself as your understanding will grow. Do you think the great mathematicians or physicists developed theory on a whim :)) ? No, they did not, they had fun trying to understand and experiment with practical cases, aka the reality. They were as clueless at the beginning as we all would've been.

A typical lesson would last an hour to two hours depending on the age of the student.
Any session would start with a back and forth discussion about the subject at hand trying to understand what we will learn.
The next step will be to grasp the basic theory behind the concept(e.g. factorials or a pendulum).
Following this, as we are armed with some basic knowledge, we will tackle easy problems and exercises. This part is the most important. If you get past this one and you can actually solve any "puzzle" of this difficulty I throw at you we are 2/3 done!
The last part of the session incudes more advanced concepts/theory. At this point we will ask and answer more in depth questions about the topic of the day. During this process we will solve more exercises based on these questions. The idea is to verify the answers. Nobody would believe Newton's laws if the apple didn't fell back, right?
Depending on the topic we would start with a review of important concepts that we need that session. Sometimes the topic doesn't require a review at the start, but there will always be a review at the end.
The subjects that I teach are mathematics, physics and computer science up to 12th grade.
