About Alister
I am a Biomedical Scientist and a Businessman. I have several qualifications, including TEFL, Teaching Grammar from Cambridge, Masters in Business Administration from Heriot-Watt, the Business school. Scotland, UK.
I have taught English mainly in the Middle East to Multinational, multicultural people for 8 years.

I love having fun and give high-energy classroom where I engage the student using props, flashcards and TPR. I try and get the student talking. I use Presentation. Production, Practice methodology mostly.
This methodology is used to elicit the answer from the student, rather than the normal formal style of giving the student the form and rules then asking him to do exercises to see if he has understood.

If the student cancels 3 hours before a lesson, they will be charged 60% of the rate.
If the student cancels 1 hour before a lesson, they will be charged 90% of the rate.
