About Rishan
My name is Rishan and I am a multi-instrumentalist from Leicester. I'm currently studying Philosophy at the University of Sheffield, and am a member of both their premier a cappella group, Steelworks, and their concert orchestra (USCO). I have also worked with the band of the performing arts society (SUPAS) as well as played in many concerts with music students. I have been playing the piano, drums and guitar for over a decade now with my Grade 7 singing and Grade 7 drums.

Hi there, my name's Rishan and I'm the Musical Director of Sheffield's premier a cappella group (Steelworks Acappella) and the pianist for the University of Sheffield Concert Orchestra. I would usually hold lessons which last either 30 minutes or 1 hour to all age groups, but predominantly 5-16 y/o. I would teach both the theory behind playing the piano (but in a fun way) and how to use your ear to play the pieces you love. I would teach some sightreading to a necessary level, but focus on teaching how to play by ear.
