I began studying music over 30 years ago and have had many experiences as a performer and educator. I have bachelor's and master's degrees in music and specialize in new music composition. I have experience in the Western tradition, jazz, and some music from different parts of the world. Let me help you achieve your goals!

With those goals in mind, I help you learn what you need to know. I have used many of the common theory texts in my teaching. My tutoring is great for college students and high school students wanting a jump start on their music theory journey.
