About Elisabete
My name is Elisabete Barros and I am currently on my last year of my degree in professional music performance at the Academy of Contemporary Music in London. I studied Biomedical Science for 2 years before I decided to jump into my passion. Apart from Music I am very interested in Biology, Anatomy, Maths and languages.
I studied in a Portuguese school in Macau ( China) where I got my High School Diploma with an average of 70% out of 100%.
The subjects I concluded during my Biomedical Science course are : Calculus, Algebra, Physics I and II, Biology, Microbiology, Anatomy I and II, Programming, Electronics, Biostatistics , Chemistry I and Introduction to Laboratory techniques.
I love interacting with people in general and I have given some private math tutoring classes in the past and for that reason I would like to get back at it as soon as possible.

My teaching method consists in first finding out what is the level of my student and from there I organize the sessions in two parts:
-The first half consists in theory so that the student has a chance to ask questions and clarify any doubts regarding the module.
-The second half is practical where I usually give some exercises for the student to practice what I explained on the previous session.
My experience is more fulfilling when my students get the most of my classes, so I am always open for suggestions that can improve their learning experience.
