About Joshua
I am a graduate from Berklee College of Music, majoring in Music Production and Engineering.
I have produced, recorded on and mixed hundreds of songs for artists in CCM, pop, EDM, lofi, indie, and hip hop.
My aim is to share the skills and knowledge I have gained through my time at Berklee, and experience working with artists.

I work mostly in Pro Tools, however the principles I teach apply to any DAW.
What I teach:
MUSIC PRODUCTION:
1. Understanding the emotional contour of a song in your chosen genre
2. Taking your musical ideas showing you how to flesh them out into a full production
3. Creative production techniques to enhance and add nuance to your music
4. Taking advantage of MIDI and virtual instruments
RECORDING:
1. Understanding signal flow from your mic/instrument to your DAW.
2. Microphone recording techniques for your home studio
MIXING:
1. Fundamentals: Balance, panning, EQ, compression, time-based effects.
2. Getting the most out of your monitoring (Speakers, headphones)
3. Studying other mixes to develop critical listening skills
