About Luka
I am a passionate musician and educator with a strong academic background and over four years of tutoring experience. Music has played a central role in my life, not only as a performance discipline but as a powerful way of thinking, communicating, and understanding the world. I want to teach because I believe music education should go beyond exams and technique — it should help students engage critically and creatively with music in all its forms. Teaching allows me to share this depth of understanding while supporting students to grow in confidence, curiosity, and musical independence.

I take a student-centred, engagement-focused approach to music tutoring, aiming to deepen students’ understanding of how and why music works, not just how to play it. Lessons typically run for 60 minutes and combine practical skill-building with in-depth musical analysis across a wide range of styles and genres. I have 4 years of tutoring experience, hold AMEB Grade 8 in Piano and Music Theory, achieved a 41.25 IB score with a 7 in IB Music HL, and a 95.05 ATAR. I teach students of all ages and levels.
