I have had the privilege of having worked with Oren as a part of team at Trinity Laban and witnessed the way he transformed students into professional level players in a staggeringly short period of time. He achieved this through technical focus, a radical approach to musicality, dancing, physical training and playing scales, which the students always enjoyed through learning to share his love for music.

I have known Oren for 35 years. He is both in my experience and by reputation one of the greatest musicians, dancers and educators I have ever known. His skills, commitment, strength of character, integrity as a person, humility and breadth of musical experience is worthy of a book. Specifically Oren teaches brass instruments and percussion. He is renowned as a musician in the Orchestral, Classical, Contemporary, African, Latin, Experimental, Improvised and Jazz scenes. His ability as a teacher to inspire and give guidence, to help a student develop their practice and discipline is second to none.
