About Zachary
Hi, my name is Zachary Palmer. I have been working within the music production industry for the last 9 years and I worked full time as a music producer for 2 years until I started to focus on teaching. I have worked and trained many young professionals already from sound design and mixing to music theory and song structure. I have also worked as a youth worker for 7 years and have experience teaching not only music production to young people but a large variety of instruments and how to use them within a live environment.

I do half an hour and hour long lessons, with a recommendation for young people under the age of 11 doing half an hour lessons. I work in all styles but I have a speciality with electronic music. I work with all ages and do both remote lessons, group lessons and in-person one-to-one lessons. My teaching style is all about showing the fundamental idea to the student first and then using that idea practically to create an idea/composition to help them fully understand the use cases of the idea.

Perfect! Learning music production with Zach has been a total game changer. He has a real gift for breaking down complex technical concepts especially within FL Studio into things that actually make sense. Whether you’re struggling with EQ or just trying to navigate your first DAW, Zach is incredibly patient and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to level up their tracks and knowledge!
