About Amie

I am a multi-instrumentalist with a background in classical music, and have since moved over to folk rock in my current working life!

I have almost 20 years of playing experience under my belt and believe that music is one of life's biggest joys. It has taught me dedication, passion, and confidence! I would love to share that with others.

I have recently graduated with an MA in Music and the Environment, with my studies having a focus on community engagement through music.

About the lesson

Our lessons will be shaped to suit your needs through and through. We will work on the fundamental skills you will need to enjoy your instrument and fulfil your goals :)

Lessons are online and can be 30 mins or an hour. They are suitable for adults looking to learn a new skill or develop their current abilities. Even for those looking for a fun new party trick! Who doesn't want to whip out a Careless Whisper solo to impress their friends?

I understand how important it is to feel confident with your instrument and I'd love to help you get there. If you wish, we will work towards ABRSM grades, but most importantly, you'll learn how to have fun performing.

Perfect! Fantastic.
Amie was polite and friendly and made me feel at ease immediately.
