About Matthew

I am a multidisciplinary designer that cares about delivering a strong visual identity and meaningful user experiences. My work ranges from creation of visual design and digital art to the interface design of websites and mobile apps and everything in between those mediums. In my free time, I'm passionate about creating art, listening to music and going to shows, and I also love traveling, exploring new places and trying new things.

About the lesson

I specialize in helping with creative briefs that require students to create designs using tools like the Adobe suite, Figma, Canva, Wordpress and various other design tools. I have extensive experience working through creative processes, and I provide professional and academic examples of working through creative challenges.

My skillset and experiences make me a valuable tutor, but most of all, my communication, patience and passion for all facets of education and learning is what I pride myself in.

My help is suited for a wide range of education types such as early high school to college and university programs.

Perfect! We had a fantastic experience working with Matt during our son’s Grade 12 year (semester 1), particularly with Communications Technology and other assignments. He was consistently patient, supportive, and calm, which made a big difference in our son’s confidence.

He was also incredibly flexible with scheduling and highly responsive whenever questions came up or deadlines were approaching. He explained concepts clearly, adapted to our son’s learning style, and genuinely focused on helping him understand the material — not just get through the work.

I first met Matthew in 2021 when I was searching for educational support for my son , who is a unique learner , entering his first year of college . He had tried all the program tutors provided by the college with no success.
The media based program he was enrolled in required a few courses with a focus on graphic design . This was a completely new branch of study for him . Matthew was patient , respectful and incredibly knowledgeable.
