About Phil

My name's Phil and I started with Poi 2014, graduated as trained educator 2017 and started Meteorhammer 2018. I'm also an artist of all sorts as I draw, do murals, masks, ornaments and upcycling as well as landscaping and gardening. I like to teach people because I'm already a very social person but I also think that exchange of knowledge and experiences are a key ability for good human societies.

About the lesson

Flowarts and spinning are an oddly satisfying and meditative form of expression. Somewhere between a Dance, martial Art and Ninja it can easily turn into a long-term hobby. I like to introduce you to Poi spinning and as a fire bender and Teacher, I'll give you enough basics, transitions and ideas to leave you interested and motivated for your own experiments and developing your own style. I'm also very happy to help you to improve your skills and Tricks. I've taught many kids and adults in lessons, workshops or lunch break and can assure you that you will successfully learn Poi. Now let's talk about Meteorhammer and frankly that's one difficult humdinger of a doozy. I recommend you to have already knowledge about Staff spinning and/or Poi (Luckily I teach Poi) Ropedart and Puppy Hammer or it might get very very uncomfortable and frustrating. So if you're advanced enough I would love to show you how to spin an ancient Shaolin weapon.
