About Izzy
I achieved 95% in A-level Maths and received my sixth form’s award for the highest Biology mark, reflecting my strong academic background. I also have experience working with younger children through a science club where I helped run fun, simple experiments.

Hi! I’m Izzy, a Biological Sciences student at the University of Birmingham. I’ve tutored students of different ages and abilities in Biology, Maths and Economics. I know that sometimes a topic just doesn’t click straight away, so my aim is to make lessons relaxed, friendly and focused on finding an explanation that works for you. I’m very specification-focused so we’ll make sure you understand the content you actually need to know, while also building your confidence in applying it to exam questions. I achieved a 9 in GCSE Biology, an A* in A level Biology, and am currently achieving a First in Biology at university, so I can share the revision techniques and exam strategies that have worked for me too. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning at your own pace!
