About Savri

I am currently a Master's student at UCL studying Global Health and Development and have a BSc in Medical Physiology from the University of Leicester. I started tutoring at Westcliff High School for Girls, where I juggled 4 A levels with EPQ with hobbies such as embroidery and painting. The most valuable skill I learnt from my degree was the ability to adapt to study most effectively and efficiently. I would love to help other students do the same.

About the lesson

My lessons would typically be an hour long and would include: - asking the students to list their weakest topic areas - introducing students to concepts with a fresh perspective - engaging students with past paper questions and quizzes - enhancing long-term memory with consistent active recall I have over 3 years of tutoring experience and have helped many students to significantly increase their levels of confidence in a range of subject areas. Children from primary school also welcome if fundamental numeracy/literacy skills need assistance.

Originally, he struggled in the subject, and disliked it, almost to the point where he wanted to drop English Literature. However, after some research online, we found Savri here on Superprof. She taught my son to look at the subject in a new view (his words, NOT mine), and after a month he was coming to me and saying he changed his mind! Best of all, he achieved an A* in his GCSE.
